A Swimming Disbelief

Has the wind gushing by got something to say Is the sky shielding me Are the stars smiling back at me Are the birds chirping an ancient relief Why are we here? What are people counting Why are people in a marathon Where are they headed Oh what a mystery is all of this Why are we here? A joke for some A little help for others A little love for family Or devoted to him? Right here stands an ancient land where we all flourish or perish? we are taught beliefs to sustain life but what if we're not here to sustain what if we're here to discover A new life under a stone or inside a deserted volcano?

The Startling Sea

The serene sea stretches wide calm and timid A sight of peace to the passers by But for how long There is a series of anxiety and waves churning in the depths of it anxiously waiting to get out The storm will come out someday and heinous waves will engulf all dear ones The calmness will return again and the boy will build castles by shore again How astounding! why does this happen? There is no reason or is there a secret kept from us Is it a way of god or the power of the sea? Why does he like to play around so much? Hes just like all of us I guess.

The Strings are in his hands

Image
There is a huge massive forest with plenty of ropes hanging from infinity. You know who holds them all tight. You have to choose the one that lands in your hand to swing to the other hill. There could be dragons or a fairyland or the fluffy arms of clouds ,who knows? What is there to ponder on what lies ahead Hold on to one string at a time Just breathe the fresh air Rest if u must Lend a helping hand to catch the string together. The sunlight finds its way everywhere Delta always remains constant He has the strings in his hands Trust him and fear not For there are footsteps walking with you always Even if u miss a couple of strings

The Travelling Bark

Image
Budded at my grandma's house. Fed me with milk and idlis of the restaurant below were my favourite. One day, they line us all and across was my favourite idli Sprinted across to be picked up by my master as the fastest and most playful. Next thing I know, I'm in a carton with a small peephole and a white thread on my neck; travelling in a huge blue block they called train. When I was taken out , Cold ice sprinkles felt good on  my fur and I was on my masters lap again. Soon I was the master of the whole unit with all armed men taking utter good care of me and would provide me with delicious supper. There was only one rival in my area who all others would pamper, Sher Khan. During mid day my master would return and i would pull his shoelaces to untie them. He never would shun me. I would often jump over the fence to look for new adventures from post to post. But soon my master and the men would come chasing me after. One day i saw three humans entering my maste...

The Walk as a Mughal Princess

Image
A walk through the ancient ruins The hustle and bustle of  vendors rings through my ears through a thousand years. The galleries resound the clittering of bangles, and the jangle of anklets and bells hanging from the face of shops.  "The prince is to arrive soon get all the shops set" The lasses are all primed with bewitching beauty to get a glance. The beautiful arches were sinfully ornamented. Walking from the shadows, into the beaming sun. There is a fragrance of the blooms and love in the air of the lush gardens And the swish of precious studded suits against  the trimmed grass. There is a smoke of hookah rising in the chambers And the alertness of the men guarding them. The high rises still await the call of their master . A walk through the ancient ruins . Why ruins ? Lets say ancient flourishes.

Out of my Blanket Of Stars

Image
Its past 10 'o clock A blanket goes over her head. And stars lit in her eyes. There is a world she can see as it could be. A warm touch of her mother's hand on her forehead. The chitter chatter of buddies in the school bus. The sweetness of grandma's cookies. And the love of exploring whats beyond those window shades of the children's establishment. A siren rings and all wake up to the maiden's call for breakfast. There are biscuits and milk today. Her pals were giggling and reading the daily. The housemaid , Bhumi loved her dearly. It was her stars through a tilted vision All you see around is an art of god How you perceive it is your art.

Beast of the Wild

Image
As she approached the wilderness cool wind brushing through her hair the fierce brown cat lay in the depth the creaky machaan soothed her scared senses she rushed into the woody hotel each step ahead resounded to the fearsome approach up in a corner she glanced to the little book store she ascended towards it with woody smoke in her head Books of man-eaters and brave men were stacked neatly a chill running through her veins is this what they fear? why do we come to see a cruel beast? at dawn we went trekking up the hill to the caves on the other side a tiger stays in there says the village man had a hearty sausage and omelette with fresh scars on my leg the safari rode into the thicket it is his land where we are mere guests the monkeys chatter, the peacock dances The King is nearby as we retreat losing hope we see the majestic beast upon the hill It is his home anyone who destroys it is an enemy He is the King of the Jungle

Dancing in the air

the little lass leaps as she dances in the air leaving the the spectators awestruck in the gleaming ice ring. the heartless tornados sweep away lives as they dance in the air. the folk rejoice and enjoy their supper as the ashes of the burning wood dance in the air. the dark smoke dances in the air as the workers fix and repair. the aqua beads dance in the air as they shower their purity on us. there is oxygen and dust dancing in the air its upto you to inhale the right thing!

A Giant leap or a Great fall

Image
Amidst the thicket lay a massive magical tree It is said it bears the sweetest richest berries of all Neverland The taste and richness increases as we climb the tree further A young lad came rushing into the woods in search of the sweetest berry in all Neverland Delighted to see the tree, he took a giant leap to reach the highest grabbed it but soon realized how far he was from his roots the berry crushed under his broken limb Another young boy came whistling by Heard about it ,so he would also try his luck Took a leap and gathered some in the basket He seized the stars and released the moon Took another handful to fill his basket He gave some to the injured lad and went hopping away Today he will cherish and feast with his friends and family
